A blend of 90% Gamay and 10% Poulsard, it is designed to be sweeter and less fizzy than Champagne and is thus a lively, fruity, off dry, and aromatic sparkling Ros. It isn't hard to see why the French have tried to keep this wine for themselves. This delightful, low alcohol, sparkler, which we call Vin de plaisir (French for "pleasure wine"), is a party in a glass and should be enjoyed whenever possible.
