The rosette grows very slowly and in its final season, sends up a tall stem that produces a beautiful abundant set of blooms. Sadly, after the bloom, the agave dies. Luckily, new plants form around the original rosette, but the parent plant certainly goes out in style! Reaching for the Stars is available as a giclee print.
