Unfortunately, as I composed the battery I could not get the sound I needed with hand drums. So we now have a mixture of instruments from all over the world. There are instruments suggested that could be substituted with others, such as the taiko drums with marching drums or toms of different pitches. There are two parts written for the upper voice. One is the skauhachi (flute), the other
