This damage does not detract from their beauty or functionality as you can just turn it to the back where it won't be seen

They are currently for use with candles rather than electric but there are drilled holes which would allow for cabling so they could be wired if you wish – PLEASE NOTE the wiring cost would be EXTRA & it would have to be attached to the outside of the arms as they are unable to go within

The oval 'dots' on the top row are alternating smooth and textured and you would have struck the  matches on the textured ones
