restrained and elegant aromas of ripe red and blue pinot fruit and wet stone nuances that enjoy added refinement from the presence of dried floral elements though the stems are presently visible

with perfectly integrated acidity and a floral element giving clarity and lift to the red fruit

This wine should continue to offer gorgeous and good-value drinking for another decade

Camille Giroud, Vosne Romanee Chalandins Vintage:2019 The 2000 Dom Pérignon P2(from the Flagey side of the vineyard). A spicy and very Vosne like nose freely offers up its aromas of black pinot fruit, plum, hoisin and exotic tea. The suave and highly seductive flavors coat the palate with sappy dry extract while the finish displays focused power on the mildly warm finale. This needs to develop more depth but it should be able to do so if allowed a few years of cellaring.
