Michelini i Mufatto 'GY' Red Blend, Gualtallary, Argentina 2021 Montepulciano-Sangiovese with structured tannins and darkTake this GY as a kind of summary of Gualtallary through two of the varieties that so far best interpret this mountainous area in the north of the Uco Valley. It's 60% malbec and 40% cabernet franc from vineyards at different altitudes. Vinified with 30% stems, it's rich in fruity aromas and flavors, juicy tones of tart red and black fruits, herbal tones, and a firm tannin structure similar to the sensation of chalk on the palate.
