The Sgian Dubh's hand polished pewter mounts, which we make ourselves, feature zoomorphic design with a choice of pewter emblem in the handle; Masonic (shown), Celtic Knotwork or Thistle symbol. Each hand polished pewter mount is electroplated with palladium, a member of the platinum group of metals, which gives lasting shine and durability. The pewter mounts are set on both ends of the Sgian
