Late in the month we did get some snow and I headed out to the 16th Street Mall in downtown Denver to photograph

On a summer morning I headed to a park in Uptown to photograph the skyline of the city

Patterns in the Sand Size:11"x14" A couple of years agoOne spring I was visiting the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve near Alamosa, Colorado. I was exploring the dunes prior to the wind picking up late one afternoon. Using my wide angle lens and getting low to the surface I wanted to bring a scene which a person could easily step into the image and place themselves on the dunes.
