Described in 1907 by British taxonomist Arthur Stanley Hirst. Originally thouht to be a Pterinochilus species, but was moved the the genus Ceratogyrus by Richard Gallon in 2001. Reaching 6 inches as adults and should be kept like any other African terrestrial spiders. This spider is native to Malawi & Mozambique.
