I wanted to get a few close up images of wildflowers so

I headed to Wildflower Park with camera gear in hand reaching the trailhead soon after

slow meandering with some nice reflections from the surrounding subjects

The forecast this July morning was to be mostly clear with a few clouds

A PEACEFUL SCENE AT MILLS LAKE SUNFLOWER I wanted to get aAfter a three mile hike, the landscape opens up as majestic views unfold coming out of the forest. A calm clear Mills Lake and Chiefs Head Peak stand before in all their glory with the early morning sunlight beginning to touch the roof tops of the peaks on this August morning. I like how clear the lakes are on calm days up at this elevation as the reflections are cast onto Mills Lake which adds even more beauty to a beautiful and majestic scene. (677
