Nahuales - Maya Symbols Wall Hanging Sumpango Embroidery In my journey of self-discovery"The nahuales, an integral part of Guatemalan culture, represent the 20 days of the Maya calendar, influencing destiny based on the date of birth." This work of art was designed and hand stitched by Cipriana Garca Ajpop, member of the Totonicapn embroidery group. The 12 nahuales are finely embroidered with a variety of stitches. This is then framed on an indigo cloth. This would brighten up any wall in the home or office.
