2021 Granite Hills Gamay Noir 750ml Mount Pleasant expertly guided by the consultingGamay is the red variety from the Beaujolais region in France. Relatively new to the Macedon Ranges, this vintage displays savoury red fruit, a touch of pepper and soft tannins with lovely length of flavour. "Abundant dark cherries and spice on the nose, the aromas alone indicate this is a deep, brooding Pinot. The palate confirms this, with plums, earth and dried herbs each having a say. This is such an enticing wine, with so much character." Wine
