LOTA DINING TABLE (S) Chair challengedThe Lota dining table spotlights the lota, which is an iconic and quintessentially Indian product. The lota is being used less frequently, and the craft of making such utilitarian vessels is dying. We look at reviving the craft and the legacy, by re envisioning and scaling up the lota as a piece of furniture. The table's base is a hand hammered lota handcrafted by Thathera craftspeople.
