Art Nouveau Heart Locket with Floral Repousse work, Antique French Locket c. 1900, Gift f or her shaker_locket 7" width or 1This charming and adorable Art Nouveau heart locket is from the late 19th or early 20th century. Acid tested for silver and featuring two hallmarks on the bail, this locket has lovely engraved repouse floral work on the front and a smooth reverse for engraving or personalization. It was originally vermeil, with a gold wash covering the silver. Now most of the gold has worn, but some remains behind the floral design, helping the features stand out.
